Join Element Materials Technology, a leading company in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector, and take advantage of opportunities to provide quality compliance assessments to our customers.

This role sits within our BM TRADA business unit, specifically providing certification services to the construction industry within the passive fire, PAS24 security, timber construction and welding sectors. We would be willing to consider individuals with transferable skills from the construction sector or from quality assurance professionals who are open to learning the construction products sector.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage a number of BM TRADA customers, both new and existing, in the fire door and fire stopping installations schemes.
  2. Review and approve responses to any non-conformance's raised during audit visits within agreed timescales.

Requirements

  1. Good IT skills using MS Office.
  2. Preferably a background in either Construction or Building Materials and with knowledge of the British and European standards involved in the production of fire doors and materials utilized during the installation process.
  3. Full certification scheme training, including the IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, will be provided.
  4. Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  5. Own diary management, being on the road for 4 days per week, but using 1 day working from home for report writing.
