Barclay Meade is seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our team in Bristol. As a Materials Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient planning and management of materials throughout our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilise the ERP system to plan and manage material requirements for production orders, ensuring availability of materials at the right time and in the right quantities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to develop and maintain accurate material forecasts and plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyse demand patterns to identify potential stock-outs, excesses, or obsolescence risks, proactively taking corrective actions to optimize inventory.
- Coordinate with supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials, monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that may impact production.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 + benefits.
