Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our workforce, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to machine breakdowns at customer sites and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
- Carry out scheduled servicing of machines at customer sites to maintain their efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and fault-find any defects on machines and perform repairs as necessary.
- Ensure that work is carried out to the highest standard and on time.
- Complete service reports, time sheets, and other documentation accurately and on schedule.
- Perform other general duties within the capability of the post holder as requested by management.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant and Machinery or equivalent.
- CSCS Card and full driving license.
- Experience working with heavy plant machinery and on customer sites.
- H&S training in PPE awareness and hand tools.
- Proficiency in using field-based diagnosis tools and equipment.
- Able to work under pressure and on own initiative without supervision.
- Self-motivated and able to work to very high standards.
- Good literacy and IT competency.
