Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our established engineering business. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering/manufacturing and a strong understanding of quality systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with production and design teams to promote customer satisfaction, monitoring and reporting quality KPIs, and responding proactively to customer complaints and questionnaires.

The role will also involve working closely with the Design Team to resolve any production-related build issues, maintaining and improving existing quality systems, and conducting internal and supplier audits as needed.

The successful candidate will have experience within the engineering manufacturing/sheet metal fabrication industry, quality trained with a good understanding of ISO9001:2015, and experience carrying out internal audits as per the ISO9001:2015 standard.

The package includes a starting salary of up to £40K per annum, day shifts Monday to Friday, 31 days holiday, and pension.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within the Engineering Manufacturing/Sheet Metal Fabrication industry
  • Quality Trained with a good understanding of ISO9001:2015
  • Experience carrying out internal audits as per the ISO9001:2015 standard
  • Ability to establish Internal Quality Standards and meet customer expectations
  • Good understanding of WEEE, ROHS, REACH
  • Competent Problem Solving Skills
  • Excellent Oral, Written and computer skills
