Digital Preservation Specialist

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Preservation Specialist to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering leading-edge projects and innovative services via our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of strategic and operational activities, including support and maintenance of mission-critical systems such as Alma, Primo, and Leganto.
- Manage and deliver the infrastructure for the University's digital repositories, including Bridges (Figshare).
- Maintain library system governance protocols for internal user access and authorisation.
- Lead a diverse project delivery team, supported by business workflow analysts, technical support, communication and change support, and a robust governance structure.
- Explore and implement strategic and innovative solutions to optimize the Library's systems and technology infrastructure.
- Network nationally and internationally, and engage with system and service providers, consortia, and global initiatives on behalf of the Library.
- Support the Manager, Library Technologies, Discovery and Access in the delivery of the Library's operations and practice.
Requirements
- Substantial staff management experience and leadership skills.
- Ability to engage with new technologies and implement strategic and innovative solutions.
- Capacity to network nationally and internationally.
- Expertise in managing digital platforms and providing advice at both strategic and operational levels.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position, with flexible working arrangements available.
