Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our elderly customers, taking orders over the phone or via the internet, and making outbound courtesy calls to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities- Take telephone and internet orders from customers, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
- Make outbound courtesy calls to customers and prospects to build relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Support drivers with route planning for the next day's delivery rounds
- Update customer records and liaise with customer relatives as required
- Ensure customers' needs are met, providing guidance on cooking, storing, and re-ordering meals as necessary
- Prepare promotional literature and communicate details of new products or promotions to customers
- Search for and provide new business opportunities
- Share best practices with colleagues to continuously improve our service proposition
We are looking for a candidate with a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be confident using a personal computer to manage and process orders, have a confident telephone manner, and be able to pay attention to detail and be accurate in your work.
Desirable skills include experience working in the elderly/care market, experience working in a team environment, and a full UK driving licence. As one of our team, you will be focused on excellent customer service with a caring and empathetic nature, demonstrating a real interest in people and being able to communicate effectively with members of the public and their families.
