Job Title: Residential Care Team Lead

Hargate Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to lead our care team in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people with social and emotional difficulties or challenging behaviour.

This role requires a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent, along with at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people. A full UK manual driving licence is also necessary.

The estimated salary for this position is £36,806 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the highest standard of support and care for young people.
  • Providing advice, assistance, and support while safeguarding their welfare.
  • Managing risks in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating shifts and taking the lead on events.
  • Meeting practical, physical, and emotional needs, serving as a role model.
  • Collaborating with young people to address difficulties and achieve potential.
  • Effective communication with staff.
