Job Description: Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and caring Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Leven Beach. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the holistic care needs of individuals using the service in collaboration with the Registered Nurse/Team Leader.
  • Provide and promote positive work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
  • Carefully consider and execute personal care duties while prioritising resident comfort and well-being.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of experience working as a care assistant/support worker or similar care setting.
  • A valid SVQ level 3 or above/equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare (as per SSSC guidelines).
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
