About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding Officer to join our team at Grove Academy. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure effective safeguarding and child protection practices
  • Participate in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings to share best practices and address safeguarding concerns
  • Assess and respond to safeguarding incidents and concerns, working collaboratively with other agencies as necessary
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure effective safeguarding and child protection
