Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Newry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and production processes.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a lead role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery within our manufacturing plant. This will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and addressing any technical issues that arise, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future problems.
You will work closely with our production teams to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally, and that any downtime is minimized. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.
What We Require- A completed apprenticeship in an electrical discipline within a manufacturing industry.
- A BTEC ONC qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding and planned maintenance.
- A logical and well-organized approach to problem-solving.
