Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Systems Developer to join our team at DPS Games, a studio based in Guildford and funded by Wargaming. As a key member of our gameplay programming team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing gameplay features for our free-to-play UE4 based PC game.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop gameplay features and systems in close collaboration with other disciplines (art, design, backend etc.)
  • Prove out gameplay ideas by working with designers during the prototype stage to hone the gameplay
  • Work closely with your lead to mentor and train the other programmers on the team. Review and feedback on their work
  • Be the vanguard for improvements in the tech department

Requirements

  • Extensive experience developing networked multiplayer games in the industry
  • Solid C++ skills
  • Solid mentoring/management skills
  • Unreal 4 development experience
  • PC and current gen console development experience
  • Loves working in cross-discipline feature teams
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
