Project Scheduler/Controller Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler/Controller to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our Weapons and Sensors Business Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of cutting-edge technology projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievable.
- Evaluate project risks and variances, providing regular performance metrics and estimated costs to complete.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contractual and programme changes are incorporated into project plans.
- Monitor programme timesheet bookings and investigate unexpected bookings to contracts.
- Facilitate risk management processes, identifying and documenting risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions.
- Support programme managers, contract administrators, and accountants in establishing performance management baselines and budget authorisations.
- Develop programme work breakdown structures and organisational breakdown structures.
- Contribute to bid and proposal activities by collating and transferring basis of estimates into the pricing team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project control environments, with knowledge of Microsoft Project 2010/2013.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
- Commercial/business awareness in complex projects environments, with experience working with multi-disciplined teams over geographically dispersed sites.
