About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Ealing. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a KS2-4 classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized support plans for students with SEN
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN, promoting their independence and social inclusion
  • Assist with lesson planning and resource development to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with children, preferably with SEN
  • Ability to implement behavioral and emotional management strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
