Job Title: 2nd Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Chef to join our culinary team at Cinnamon Care. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and culinary concepts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting.
• Strong culinary skills, with a focus on presentation and quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior staff.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
