Exciting Opportunity for HCPC Registered Radiographer

We are seeking an experienced CT Radiographer to join our highly motivated and friendly Medical Imaging team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CT Radiographer in a UK NHS Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rotating through CT and general x-ray, including mobiles and theatre
  • Working closely with local clinicians to provide in/out patient, GP and acute 24-hour service cover
  • Reporting sonographers and reporting radiographers

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level Radiographer to experience working in a small island community. Our team of 15 staff includes 10 Radiographers, 3 (4) Sonographers, 1 assistant practitioner and 1 admin assistant.

Our Equipment:

  • Two general DR rooms
  • Two DR mobiles
  • 128 slice GE Revolution Evo CT scanner
  • Philips Blueseal 1.5T MRI scanner

About NHS Shetland:

NHS Shetland is an island general/acute hospital serving Shetland's 22,000 residents. We provide acute/elective general surgical and general medical inpatient and outpatient services, as well as consultant-led A&E. We work closely with local clinicians and have reporting sonographers and reporting radiographers.
