Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Sales and Purchase Ledgers, ensuring accuracy and up-to-dateness.
  • Manage VAT calculations, guaranteeing compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, maintaining financial integrity.
  • Carry out analysis work as required, providing actionable insights.
  • Lead, manage, recruit, and develop the team, promoting a positive work culture.
  • Produce and submit month-end accounts, meeting deadlines.
  • Control the balance sheet, ensuring accurate asset and liability recording.
  • Monthly reviews of overheads, identifying areas for cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to support budgeting and forecasting.
About Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced accountant with ACCA, CIMA, AAT qualifications or equivalent experience (5+ years). Prior experience in the construction sector is advantageous. Your key skills should include sound decision-making, business judgment, organization, proactivity, attention to detail, and expertise in accounting software and Excel.

Our Benefits

A competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for growth and development in a supportive and dynamic environment.
