Carbon60 is seeking a talented Graduate Project Engineer to join their team. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering projects while gaining valuable experience and training over a development period. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine responsibilities and duties for project delivery, while developing key skills and knowledge in commercial terms and conditions and contract law.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support the Projects team to secure new business and deliver projects, comprising of activities such as reviewing contract documents, coordinating with other departments, and prioritizing staff workload.
  2. Work to the Company's health and safety, quality, and environmental management systems, and comply with all guidelines, procedures, and processes.
  3. Review and provide comments on contract documents, project plans, specifications, and other relevant materials.
  4. Coordinate with other departments and Project Engineers/Managers to meet scheduled task deadlines, purchasing, fabrication, construction, inspection, start-up, etc.
  5. Schedule and conduct project review and proposals review meetings, focusing on terms and conditions of contract, scope of supply, cost, construction, and project scheduling.
  6. Advise the Project Manager of project status while adhering to all appropriate policies and established safety procedures.
Education, Training, and Experience
  1. Work experience or placement in a manufacturing, engineering, or project management environment.
  2. Health and safety knowledge through training.
  3. Computer skills: higher proficiency in Teams, Word, Excel, Project, and other MS Office programs. Ability to rapidly use the Company's IT systems and ERP systems.
  4. Mathematical skills: higher ability to apply advanced mathematical equations to complex situations.
  5. Travel: travel in the UK and Ireland will be required to fulfill the role.
  6. Ability to read and understand specification, fabrication, erection, and standard engineering drawings.
  7. Rapid build of knowledge of clean and wastewater treatment processes, infrastructure, and equipment.
  8. Adapt to work within a small multi-disciplined team.
  9. CAD experience.
