Transformative Leadership Opportunity in Digital Health

We're seeking a visionary Lead Software Developer to spearhead the development of the Welsh Immunisation System (WIS), a critical platform for public health in Wales. As a key member of our team at Digital Health and Care Wales, you'll drive the evolution of WIS, ensuring it meets the ambitious goals of the National Immunisation Framework.

Your expertise will be instrumental in modernising our tech stack, leveraging technologies like C#, Blazor, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You'll lead the development of key software components, collaborating closely with users, stakeholders, and senior staff to deliver high-quality solutions that meet real-world needs.

As a leader, you'll mentor junior developers, promoting their growth and skills development. You'll also drive continual improvement, expanding our automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps practices to enhance our delivery.

We operate a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from one of our office locations (Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend, or Mold) at least once a week. If you're passionate about shaping the future of health and vaccination technology, we'd love to hear from you.
