We are seeking an experienced and motivated solicitor to join our client's well-established Commercial Litigation Group based in Birmingham. This dynamic team handles a broad spectrum of litigation for clients across diverse industries, including media, technology, telecoms, private capital, property, financial advisory and investment, entertainment, and retail.

About the Role

As a Commercial Litigation Solicitor, you will handle a broad range of contentious matters, including court cases, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. Strong drafting and negotiating skills are essential, with experience in court and trial work being highly advantageous. You will also contribute to the firm's growth by actively participating in marketing and business development initiatives, helping to strengthen their presence across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a broad range of contentious matters, including court cases, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by actively participating in marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Work independently under pressure while also being comfortable working within a team.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years PQE with strong academic credentials.
  • A proven track record of working on a broad range of contentious matters across sectors including media, technology, telecoms, private capital, property, financial advisory and investment, entertainment, and retail.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating abilities are crucial.
  • Proactive, confident, and sociable, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
