The estimated salary for this role is AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. At FreddyMatch IP Pty, we are seeking a Companionship Volunteer for Elderly to connect with older adults in aged care facilities or their own homes in the community.
About the RoleAs a volunteer visitor, you will make regular contact with an older adult who has been referred to the scheme. This may include face-to-face visits, phone calls, cards, letters, or video calls. You will be matched with an older adult based on shared interests and compatibility.
Responsibilities- Create lasting friendships with older adults in the community.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned older adults through various communication methods.
A National Police Clearance is required. We can assist with obtaining one at no cost to you.
