Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join their Children with Disabilities Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional supervision and support to staff, as well as contributing to the management and development of students and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional Supervision: Provide reflective monthly supervision and support to staff, ensuring Personal Development Reviews are completed in line with departmental policy.
- Staff Development: Support the management and development of students on placements, newly qualified staff, and experienced social workers.
- Assessment and Planning: Undertake assessments, reassessments, and reviews, planning and implementing interventions as necessary, including Mental Capacity Act Assessments and Best Interests procedures.
- Representation and Advice: Act as a representative of the Council, providing advice on professional issues, including quality assurance and performance.
- Knowledge and Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, national and local structures, policies, procedures, and standards to protect the rights, safety, and wellbeing of service users and carers.
- Record Keeping and Evaluation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, contributing to the evaluation and analysis of recording and the use of information systems to inform good practice and maintain a focus on positive outcomes.
- Continual Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
