Job Description

As a Materials Scientist at Scott Bader, you will play a key role in managing and executing test programmes to support R&D projects, customer qualification programmes, and marine approvals. You will be a key point of contact for commercial teams and their customers, providing technical support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute short- and long-term test programmes
  • Ensure good communication and involvement with Research & Development and commercial teams
  • Provide technical support and assistance to resolve production and quality issues
  • Develop new and improve existing test methods and procedures
  • Represent the company from a technical standpoint

Requirements:

  • Research experience related to Polymer Science, Material Science, or Composite Engineering
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data and produce clear concise reports
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject
