Senior VFX Artist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior VFX Artist to join our team in the Midlands, UK. As a key member of our art department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects that enhance gameplay and engage players.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement dynamic visual effects that communicate essential gameplay information.
  • Collaborate with designers and art leads to ensure visual effects align with game features and objectives.
  • Work closely with animators to synchronize visual effects with animations and implement them correctly in the engine.
  • Develop and maintain a library of reusable visual effects and optimize their performance.
  • Conduct performance and memory profiling to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior VFX Artist in a game development environment.
  • Demonstrable professional knowledge of art and animation fundamentals.
  • A portfolio showcasing modern, high-quality real-time VFX for games.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and experience creating high-quality VFX that run in real-time.
