About the Role

HSBC Innovation Banking is seeking a skilled Product Advisory Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our Product Advisory team, you will play a crucial role in helping scaling startups drive growth and develop their liquidity and treasury strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of domestic and international treasury management products and services, upselling and cross-selling in line with client needs.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend effective strategies; perform cost-benefit and risk analysis; negotiate pricing to optimise the profitability of product or service solutions.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of client satisfaction across your assigned portfolio having a key focus on retention.
  • Be recognized as a trusted Advisor in Cash Management and Payments product sales and services, including having your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to operational marketing, sales, and service strategies.
  • Review client portfolios to determine gaps in cash management products or opportunities to expand existing relationships.
  • Identify process pain points, challenge the status quo, and support remediation or improvements to achieve better client outcomes.
  • Commercialise Liquidity Investment solutions and provide client platform services which facilitate investments in money market funds.

Requirements

  • Experience or related experience in global treasury management products and product sales, notably payment solutions.
  • Understanding of client life stages in allocated portfolio and the solutions needed at each point in the lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of the Innovation economy and alternative investment industry.
  • Existing knowledge, or a passion for understanding the innovation eco system, HSBC Innovation Banking operations, products, and regulatory framework.
  • A passion for working with and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders internal and external.
  • Skills stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
