Job Title: Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Envision Education. As a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with severe and mild learning difficulties in a fantastic SEND secondary school located in the Richmond area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with their learning and development as a SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritized
  • Assist children with personal care
  • Build a close bond with the child to ensure they feel comfortable both inside and outside the classroom

Requirements:

  • Available to start immediately
  • MUST have a Child Only DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience working with children in a school setting or outside of a school setting
  • Live local to Richmond or within a commutable distance
