As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and efficient process engineering projects within a high-variety, high-complexity, and challenging precision optical/electro-mechanical assembly environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
- Investigate and resolve process problems and root-cause analysis
- Design and implement new assembly processes and product interaction equipment
- Process and evaluate design changes
- Justify, specify, and implement new process equipment
- Collaborate with product divisions and support services within the manufacturing services division
- Minimum of a degree level of education in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. manufacturing systems, mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics)
- High level of PC literacy
- Desirable requirements: success in managing and delivering technically challenging engineering activities, application of structured problem-solving and statistical analysis techniques, awareness of lean manufacturing tools and techniques, understanding of production metrics
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
- Good activity priority management
- Ability to spot potential areas for improvement
- Hands-on practical ability
- Maintain a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressure environment
