Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Operative, you will be responsible for inspecting, packing food products, labeling cartons, and stacking. You will also need to organise production processes to maximise efficiency and meet targets, ensuring quality standards for all products are met.
You will work closely with the Production Manager/Engineers to manage the operation of the line assigned and report any issues or breakdowns. Additionally, you will identify potential areas for improvement to production methods and processes.
Required Skills & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working within a food production environment, although full training will be provided. Essential skills include attention to detail, good numeracy and written skills, and the ability to work in a team and independently.
You must be confident in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines, with a strong work ethic and passion for delivering high-quality service. Due to the nature of the role, a degree of manual handling is required, but training will be provided.
Desirable Skills & ExperienceIt would be beneficial if you have experience with Vertical Form fill sealing machines, filling out records, and working in a labour-intensive environment. Forklift driving and food production/packing/machine operator experience would also be advantageous.
