Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineering Specialist to join our team at Westlakes Recruit. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for applying Systems Engineering processes, methods, and tools to a wide variety of projects across our nuclear decommissioning and waste management portfolio.

About the Role

We are looking for engineers who have experience and expertise in Systems Engineering to grow and develop our capability. This capability complements our existing & well-established core engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil & Structural, and Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) as well as our growing capabilities (Engineering Management, Technology Solutions, and Robotics).

Key Responsibilities

- Apply Systems Engineering processes, methods, and tools to a wide variety of projects
- Assist in the continual development of our Systems Engineering capability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Requirements

- Demonstrable understanding of the application of a Systems Engineering approach to design
- Experience with key Systems Engineering methodologies (e.g., architecture definition, Pugh matricies/optioneering, interface management)
- Experience with requirements management, structured verification, and the use of requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Capella or Sparx EA is desirable
