This is a challenging role for a highly motivated Senior Design Engineer seeking a dynamic position within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Huddersfield.

Job Summary

As the Senior Design Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Designing and redesigning new and existing products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Calculating and demonstrating requirements to work outside standards, with innovative solutions.
  • Signing off designs where appropriate.
  • Supporting manufacture and build outside specifications.
  • Ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinating with various departments for project completion.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing technical guidance to other team members.
  • Preparing and presenting technical reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

The successful Senior Design Engineer should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar design position.
  • Experience working with rotating products within a manufacturing environment.
  • A degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
