Audit and Accounting Leadership Opportunity

Austin Rose, a leading public practice recruitment specialist, is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team. As a Top 100 Firm, they offer a full suite of services for small to medium-sized enterprises, individuals, and entrepreneurs.

About the Role:

  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients to discuss findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the management of a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts, including FRS 102, Groups, Limited Companies, and LLP Accounts.
  • Prepare and submit corporation tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Review the work of junior accountants and provide on-the-job training to ensure their development and growth.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proven experience in leading audits from planning to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff during audits, ensuring a positive and productive team environment.
  • Strong skillset across accountancy, including corporate tax, with a preference for experience with CCH.
  • Experience in external auditing of small and medium-sized enterprises under FRS 102.
