Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Goods Delivery Specialist to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Operations: Drive and deliver goods to customers, ensuring items are handled carefully and delivered on time.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Load and unload goods, follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, and maintain delivery vehicles in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues, complete delivery records and paperwork accurately.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to handle and lift heavy items.
