About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Care Lead for Vulnerable Young People to join our team in Enfield. As a key member of our Looked After Children Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert casework services to vulnerable looked after children, focusing on their unique needs and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized care plans, and implement effective interventions to improve outcomes for looked after children.
  2. To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, education specialists, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  3. To prepare high-quality reports, statements, and other legal documents for Family Proceedings Courts, meeting strict deadlines and demonstrating expertise in child welfare law.
  4. To contribute to the professional development of colleagues, providing mentorship, guidance, and training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. To stay informed about best practices, research, and policy developments in the field of social care, applying this knowledge to improve services and outcomes for vulnerable young people.
Requirements
  • A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a statutory social care setting with adults.

Estimated Salary: £54,333 per annum
