**Our Mission:**

At Apple Orchard, we aim to provide a high level of nurturing to meet the individual needs of the young people in our care. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve this mission.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering activities that meet the young people's needs, maintaining accurate records of their progress, and working collaboratively with local authorities and placing authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To create a warm and friendly atmosphere within the home, focusing on building supportive relationships and positive attachments.
  • To observe and assess young people's progress, keeping accurate records of their achievements, behaviour, and important events in their lives.
  • To engage the young people in a wide range of activities, guiding them towards independence and adulthood.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with teenagers or challenging behaviour.
  • Hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
  • Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including days, evenings, and weekends.
