Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor

Brandon James is seeking a confident and experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their team and support them on a variety of projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality fire risk assessments across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, retail, and complex buildings.
  • Collaborate with the Fire Risk Services section by handling initial enquiries, participating in pre-meetings, determining the scope of work, developing detailed project briefs, and preparing presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform validation, verification, and Quality Assurance (QA) of technical reports, addressing and resolving any related queries.
  • Collaborate with the publications department by reviewing draft publications and preparing technical articles for journals.
  • Assist trainers with their knowledge gaps to enhance overall content quality and accuracy.
  • Assist the Marketing departments in developing propositions and strategies for Fire Risk Services and Fire Advisory Services.
Requirements:
  • Level 4 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety Management.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management.
  • 3+ years experience.
  • Approved validator with the BAFE SP205-1 scheme or willing to work towards achieving this.
  • Tier 3 status with the IFSM or equivalent or working towards.
