Job Title: Secondary SEND Science Teacher
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated science teacher to work with students who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan engaging science lessons tailored to individual learning styles, ensuring a deep understanding of key scientific concepts.
- Foster a positive classroom environment using evidence-based behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor student progress in scientific understanding through various assessment methods.
- Differentiate teaching methods to ensure all pupils can access and succeed in the science curriculum.
About You:
- You will have a strong foundation in science teaching, ideally with experience in a SEND setting.
- You must demonstrate empathy and patience when working with challenging behaviours.
- You should be proactive in managing pupil behaviour to enhance the learning experience.
- You will need to be well-organised, flexible, and able to manage a diverse classroom with resilience.
