About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our Strategic Communications and Marketing team at Mind. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of our internal communications, supporting the delivery of our strategic communications plan and contributing to the creation of a new federation-wide communications plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior leaders to deliver our corporate narrative through internal communications.
  • Develop and deliver an effective internal communications strategy and plans, in line with our overall strategic communications plan and broader corporate strategy.
  • Align internal communications to our organisational development and change plans, working closely with our People, Culture and Equity teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day internal communications, taking the lead in developing and delivering impactful and cost-effective internal communications and engagement opportunities.
  • Manage a team of communications professionals, including coaching, motivating and developing their skills.
  • Write, edit and proofread internal communications, ensuring consistency and compliance with Mind's branding, values and style guidelines.
  • Act as Internal Communications lead on key change projects, working in close collaboration with other teams.
  • Work closely with teams across Mind, supporting and advising colleagues on internal communications best practice.
  • Measure and evaluate your team's work to develop best practice, inform future plans and increase our understanding of key audiences.
