**Job Title:** NetApp Storage Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced NetApp Storage Engineer to join our team at Regal Cloud. This is a 12-month contract based in Cheshire, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management & Execution: Oversee and execute the management of NetApp systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • NetApp Data ONTAP & Firmware: Perform upgrades and provide expert recommendations.
  • NetApp Operations Manager (OM): Implement and upgrade OM, while monitoring storage and data management systems.
  • Hardware Diagnostics & Replacement: Conduct on-site diagnostics and handle the replacement of hardware components as needed.
  • Case Resolution Facilitation: Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution of cases.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • Regular Reviews: Participate in regularly scheduled reviews with the customer to assess system performance and issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the NetApp storage environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with NetApp storage systems, particularly Data ONTAP.
  • Strong knowledge of NetApp Operations Manager.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and present findings clearly.

Working Arrangements:

The role will be based in Knutsford, Cheshire, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
