  • System-Level Modelling: Develop system-level models to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration of mixed-signal components.
  • Schematic Capture: Implement schematics using industry-standard design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler.
  • Layout Supervision: Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure high-quality layout implementation and adherence to DFM/DFT guidelines.
  • Validation & Characterization: Work with test engineers to define validation plans, conduct post-silicon testing, and analyze results to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with digital design, verification, and system engineering teams to optimize mixed-signal IC performance.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and design reviews.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC design. Experience with silicon-proven designs is highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in mixed-signal design flow and tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
  • Strong knowledge of CMOS process technologies (e.g., 65nm, 28nm, FinFET).
  • Expertise in analog design fundamentals, including noise analysis, signal integrity, and power optimization.
  • Experience with mixed-signal verification techniques (e.g., Verilog-A/MS, AMS simulation).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
