Wardell Armstrong is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the UK. We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of complex projects.

The Opportunity:

We are currently working on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including residential, energy, and waste management. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for project managing your own schemes and project teams, preparing high-level analysis and design, and detailed designs as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the Technical Director.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide civil engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Liaise with clients, landowners, contractors, statutory authorities, and third parties.
  • Produce design work, advice, and reports for clients.

Requirements:

  • Be qualified to at least BSc level in Civil Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Have robust experience in the design of roads, drainage, and earthworks design for various sectors and project sizes.
  • Have an excellent technical knowledge of Scottish Water, SEPA, and Local Authority requirements for civil engineering projects.
  • Be professionally chartered or working towards that goal and maintain ongoing CPD activity.
