Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Job Type: Temporary, full-time hours

Primary Industry: Construction

Salary: £13.50 - £13.50 Per hour

Job Duties:
  1. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  2. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to maintain effective communication.
  3. Monitor project progress and report any deviations from the schedule to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them and maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Prepare and update project documentation and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  2. Strong organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Education:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction planning, with a strong understanding of industry processes and methodologies.

Knowledge and Skills:
  1. Proficient in project management software to manage and track project progress.
  2. Understanding of construction processes and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Professional certification in project management to demonstrate expertise and commitment to the industry.
  2. Experience in using BIM software to enhance project delivery and collaboration.
Working Conditions:

This role will primarily be based on-site at construction projects in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, and Tamworth areas. Occasional travel may be required.
