Job Title: Special Education Needs Assistants for Children

About the Role: We are seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will have a passion for working with children who have Special Educational Needs, and be able to provide individualized support and care to our students.

Salary: £28,000 per annum based on experience.

Job Description:
  1. Work closely with teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs
  2. Provide physical and emotional support to students with complex needs
  3. Collaborate with other professionals, such as occupational therapists and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for students
  4. Monitor student progress and report to teachers and parents/caregivers

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or a related field
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with PMLD and Autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
