Awareness Raising Ambassador

About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our mission to raise awareness of dementia in the Wakefield and Five Towns area. As an Awareness Raising Volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that people who are worried about or affected by dementia are aware of the support and advice services we offer.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting local events and information stands to promote our services
- Displaying leaflets in highly visible locations, such as libraries and GP surgeries
- Establishing connections with local organisations and community groups to achieve widespread awareness of our support
- Representing Alzheimer's Society and promoting our brand
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and is willing to learn about dementia and our services. As a representative of Alzheimer's Society, you will receive training and support to help you succeed in this role.
