Purchasing Operations Role

Back Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, interacting with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will enable you to optimize procurement processes and ensure seamless interactions with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise purchase orders, considering factors such as cost, lead time, and supplier reliability.
  • Build positive relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier order acknowledgments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor stock levels using Sage accounts, replenishing stock as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Verify supplier invoices for accuracy, identifying and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Purchase office supplies and items as required by the business, adhering to company policies and procedures.


Salaries and Benefits
  • Estimated salary: Up to £28,000.00 per year.
  • Pay types: Full-time, Permanent.
  • Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week).
  • Benefits include: 28 days holiday, additional paid Christmas closure, quarterly bonus scheme, and access to on-site gymnasium.
