About the Role

LAKESIDE HEALTHCARE is a leading provider of primary care services in England, serving the healthcare needs of over 170,000 patients across Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire & Cambridgeshire.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Yaxley practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary care services, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and excellent communication skills. They will be confident in their ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and will be able to demonstrate a high level of empathy and understanding when dealing with patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality primary care services to patients, including routine consultations, home visits, and telephone consultations.
  • Work closely with the practice team to provide a comprehensive service to patients, including referral and follow-up care.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities, including audit and clinical review.
  • Contribute to the development of the practice's clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the practice's appraisal and revalidation process.
Requirements
  • Eligible to work in General Practice in the NHS.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • High level of empathy and understanding when dealing with patients.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
  • Use of System One Clinical database.
