About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic STEM Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large Secondary School in Barnet. As a STEM Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students from Year 7 to KS5, providing academic guidance and assistance in a classroom setting, one-to-one meetings, or small group interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students in achieving their academic potential in STEM subjects
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education
  • Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
  • Contribute to the development of engaging lesson plans and activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual with a good Science or Maths Degree from a Top 25 UK University. You should have a strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education and be able to teach engaging lessons to students up to KS5. Previous tutoring experience is advantageous, but not essential. If you are a creative and adaptable individual who is passionate about teaching students from diverse backgrounds, we would love to hear from you.
