We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Paydens Group. As a vital member of our pharmacy operations, you will play a key role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering exceptional patient care.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
- Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
- Utilise computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries.
- Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.
Requirements
- A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills; displaying warmth, empathy, and patience.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, thriving in a collaborative work setting.
- Computer literacy, comfortable with learning and utilising various pharmacy software systems.
- Outstanding communication traits, ability to problem-solve, and the initiative to adapt quickly in a bustling environment.
Working Hours & Benefits
This role offers a schedule designed to promote work-life balance with the following hours: Monday 1pm - 6:15pm, Tuesday 9am - 5:30pm, Wednesday 10am - 5pm, Thursday 10am - 6:15pm, Friday and Saturday 9am - 1pm Alternate weeks. Before applying, please ensure availability for these hours of 30 per week.
