Sanitation and Hygiene Technician

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at the City of Edinburgh Council. As a key member of the Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service across our estate.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings within a group of buildings.
• Replenishing washroom consumables and maintaining sanitary areas, toilets, and showers.
• Participating in emergency and reactive cleaning as required, including removal of graffiti, body fluid spillages, and accidental spillages.

You will also be required to cooperate with performance measurement to ensure that agreed standards are met.

This role involves working in a variety of environments, including schools, offices, and public buildings. You will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment, and follow strict health and safety guidelines.
