About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Service Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work with powered access equipment and be part of a leading specialist provider.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding. They will also possess a mature outlook and the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Service Engineer in the effective running of the Depot workshop within the region.
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot as required, ensuring that there are no deficiencies or defects likely to affect the safe working of a machine.
  • Repair machines at depot or on site as required, ensuring conformance with manufacturers' specifications and company policy.
  • To complete planned maintenance activities, including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
  • Handover machines to customers and familiarise them with safe machine operation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
Requirements
  • Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  • Mature outlook and the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, life assurance x2 contractual salary, Westfield healthcare plan, 25 days holiday, and a pension scheme. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 9.00am till 6.30pm.
