Hourly Rate and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position is £20-£35 per hour. As a self-employed interpreter, you will have the flexibility to choose your working hours and rates.

Job Responsibilities

As a Kurdish interpreter with Language Empire, you will be working with clients from various backgrounds, including healthcare, local government, and law enforcement. Your duties will include:

  • Interpreting face-to-face, over the phone, or via video conference.
  • Translating written materials, such as documents and reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Fluent English and Kurdish language skills.
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
