We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on a contract project basis. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and have a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.

The Electrician will be responsible for designing, installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential projects. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Carry out domestic and commercial first and second fix installations
• Maintain, install, and repair electrical systems within residential project sites
• Ensure all notifiable electric work meets building regulations and is certified by the local electrical authority
• Install new consumer units or fuse boxes
• Install new circuits
• Alter existing circuits
• Install surge protection
• Rewire all or part of the electrical system
• Account for general reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and ensuring satisfactory fault rectification
• Undertake general maintenance tasks and survey inspections in areas including confined spaces and at height
• Install, repair, and upgrade lighting systems, including indoor, exterior, and garden lighting
• Inspect and test electrical systems and issue electrical certificates of compliance
• Install and test fire safety and electrical systems, providing fire and electrical compliance and testing

• 18th edition qualification
• Operative to use own van/tools
• Level 3 qualification
• AM2 qualification
• 2391 testing and inspection qualification
